Mariano Rivera was perfect in relief and gained credit for his 25th save. Luis Ayala(6-3) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. Jose Contreras(7-14) took the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 9 hits and 6 walks in 5 innings.
